FAQ

Qss. What happens if I feel worse after taking the remedies or herbs or nutrients?
A: Always stop for a few days if you feel any worsening. This is often the case- the body detoxifies and makes you feel it!  Drink lots of water and take 4 grams of Vitamin C through out the day (that’s 8 x 500 mg capsules) to help the detoxification.  Feel free to email me at this time for guidance.

Qss: Where do I order 200c potencies of remedies?
A: Most are available from www.abchomeopathy.com.  Most local health food stores will also order them for you if you ask them. And www.ainsworths.com is a fabulous source- they are in England, and they have everything in every potency.

Qss: Are you a medical doctor?
A: No, I am not. I have a three year degree in nutrition from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London (like a Master’s Degree), and the Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy from the prestigious British Institute of Homeopathy, also in London. I do not practice medicine, do not diagnose, and use only over the counter remedies, herbs, and nutrients. It is important that you have a medical doctor to help with tests, so that you have a diagnosis we can work with. Also if you are taking any medications, you must contiinue to work with your MD regarding those.

Qss: How many visits will I need when working with you?
A: A minumum of two, an average of four, and  often five or six. Then some people like to continue to fine tune by coming once or twice a year even after they have seen great improvement in whatever symptoms were bothering them. It also depends on the problem – helping someone with asthma is a lot more involved than someone with acne!  And it depends on the overall general health, strength, and age of the person.

Qss: Is it true that I have to stop all caffeine so that the remedies will work? And what about toothpaste, with mint in it?
A: Please see the section on “How to Take Homeopathic Remedies” for the answers to these questions. Nutshell is that caffeinated coffee is often a problem, while decaf, and tea are usually OK And mint toothpaste I have rarely suspected of interfering with remedies.
