You all know that laughter is good for you, and you know that people have even healed themselves of serious illness using funny movies! And do you know that women laugh 100% more than men do? I wonder what that is about? :-)

Here is what laughter actually does physiologically:

►It improves memory, brain function, focus, and creativity
►It reduces the hormones that are released during stress, such as cortisol and adrenaline (fight or flight response, you know that puppy!)
► It lowers blood pressure
► It works out muscle groups, such as abdomen, diaphragm, and facial muscles.

And it just feels darn good, doesn’t it? I really like to let go to laughter and go for the belly laugh. You know the kind of laughter I mean, such as that induced by such hilarious humans as Dave Barry, George Carlin, or Robin Williams. If I get a chance to roll around crying with laughter, I go for it!
